Ciprian Petrea is one of the most respected tennis coaches in Cyprus, with 25+ years of hands-on experience guiding junior players from grassroots to international podiums. His athletes have captured 50+ international titles (singles & doubles), alongside numerous national and regional crowns, and have been selected to national teams at multiple age categories.
Ciprian’s players have appeared at prestigious events including Les Petits As (World U14), the European Championships (individual & team), Gymnasiade, the Games of the Small States of Europe, the Billie Jean King Cup, and the ITF Pro Circuit.

As Head Coach at Famagusta Tennis Club (Limassol), Ciprian blends video-based technical analysis, biomechanics, and a serve-centric performance philosophy with an original mental framework he created and refined over two decades. He was among the first in Cyprus to integrate a neuromotor approach for junior development, improving learning speed, coordination, and injury prevention.
Mentoring
Beyond the court, Ciprian is a committed mentor and educator, producing accessible content for players, parents, and coaches, and building bridges between tennis performance, education, and community impact. His current focus includes leading the competitive program in Limassol and guiding his son Alexandros (11) through a transparent international roadmap (2025–2028) aimed at Tennis Europe U12/U14, Les Petits As, and TE Race Masters.
